Summer 2026 in Southern California is stacked — both at the festival level and in the underground. Here's a guide to what's worth planning around, from the major productions you need tickets for months in advance to the underground events you'll find out about a week before they happen.
Major Festival Events
Summer of the Living Dead (June 19–20) — Bassrush's annual bass music and DnB production at the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach. Borgore, Pendulum, Peekaboo, Sullivan King — a legitimate lineup for the bass music community. 18+, tickets from $89.
Day Trip Festival (June 27–28) — Queen Mary Waterfront again, different promoter, different sound. Cloonee, Odd Mob, GORDO, Adam Beyer, Purple Disco Machine across multiple stages. One of the better-curated festival lineups of the summer for underground crossover appeal.
Lost in Dreams Festival (July 11–12) — LA State Historic Park. Future bass and melodic dubstep orientation, 18+, two-day format at one of LA's best outdoor festival venues.
Hard Summer (Aug 1–2) — Hollywood Park, Inglewood. Zedd B2B Knock2, RL Grime, DJ Snake, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens. The most mainstream lineup of the summer, with genuine underground-crossover bookings mixed in.
