KBeats Artist Agreement (beta draft)

Beta draft, pending legal review. This text describes how KBeats works during the beta. It will be replaced by reviewed terms before artist payouts or accounts launch.

Agreement version: kbeats-artist-2026-10-draft

1. What you grant

A non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the master you upload, and the composition it embodies, to make and run interactive rhythm-game charts in KBeats, including previews and promotional clips of gameplay of your track.

2. What you confirm

3. Revenue split: 90 / 10

Of the distributable game revenue attributable to your track, 90% goes to you and 10% is the KBeats platform fee (artist_share_bps = 9000, platform_fee_bps = 1000). Distributable revenue is gross attributable revenue (track-attributed advertising, subscription allocation, track-specific promotions or purchases, sponsored competitions) less app-store and platform fees and the adjustments defined in your statement. This covers game revenue only. It is not a claim on your SoundCloud or any other royalties.

4. Statements and payouts

Earnings are shown as Estimated, Finalized or Paid. Historical ledger entries are never rewritten; corrections appear as adjustment entries. The payout threshold and timing will be set before payouts begin.

5. Charts

KBeats generates charts automatically. You may preview and edit them before publishing. Every published chart edit creates a new version, and existing leaderboards stay tied to the version they were played on.

6. Takedown

You may withdraw a track at any time. If rights are disputed, new game sessions for the track stop immediately while records and financial history are kept.
