KBEATS

Privacy

Beta draft, pending legal review. This text describes how KBeats works during the beta. It will be replaced by reviewed terms before artist payouts or accounts launch.

During the beta

• The web game makes no network requests while you play. Scores, settings, favorites, calibration offsets and a local analytics queue (up to 500 events) are kept in your browser's storage on this device.
• Files artists upload on the Submit page are decoded and analysed in the browser and stored on that device (IndexedDB). They are not sent to KEEPITIL.
• Clearing site data deletes all of the above.

When accounts launch

Signing in (guest, Sign in with Apple, Google or KEEPITIL) will store your profile, scores and play sessions on KEEPITIL servers so they follow you between devices. Artists will see aggregate analytics (plays, completion, accuracy, region-level counts) but never personally identifying player data.

Ads

No ads run during the beta. If ads are added, they will never play during a song.
